Introduction to Monotype Printing
$35/person includes on glass of wine
With Terri Heinrichs
One of the most “painterly” styles of printing, each monotype painting is an original piece of art, as it can only be printed once. Be amazed as your very own painting emerges from a blank page, and take home a piece of art you will be proud to display. No painting experience necessary! Artists of all levels of experience (even zero!) are welcome and will enjoy an afternoon of wine and painting.

Ammara is a mixed media artist who has a passion for combining various forms of arts and crafts to create pieces for family, friends, and local markets. She is primarily a self-taught artist, but takes classes, uses books and videos, and experiments continuously in order to develop her skills and to keep the creative juices flowing. Her art is inspired by different places and cultures encountered throughout her travels and experiences in life. Ammara continuously explores new techniques to add to her repertoire and loves teaching them to others who enjoy expanding their horizons. She has been teaching art with continuing education, at different studios, and giving private lessons to both children and adults for the past few years. She believes art is for everyone, and that it’s a great way to escape the daily grind and make life just a little bit more colorful.
Rebecca graduated from ACAD in 2012 with a major in drawing. If she could have chosen a minor, it would have been painting. When Rebecca is not painting at Vin Gogh, she is juggling five other jobs. Teaching drawing to children and painting with seniors are some of her favourites. When Rebecca isn’t working, she enjoys helping friends and family with their own creative ventures and makes as many punny jokes along the way as she can.
We say farewell to one of the creators of Vin Gogh, Brenda Mahoney. Brenda will relocate to Kelowna with her husband Tom. They are looking forward to starting a new chapter of adventure with travelling and exploring new passions. Our little Vin Gogh family will miss her energy and dedication to the business. Enjoy the good life!
