On Friday, June 1st, Vin Gogh Paint & Sip Studio partnered with Amigos de Animales for a “Paint Your Pet” fundraiser. The Amigos de Animales team have hearts set to help stray dogs and cats, eliminate animal suffering, and to educate people about animal welfare, creating a mutual environment of compassion. Of course, we were more than thrilled to help Amigos de Animales! The fundraiser was a big success, having raised $1600 in one night through ticket sales, our drink special, donations, and raffle tickets. Every single penny will go toward food, medicine, daily spay and neutering, vet care, vaccinations and operation costs to run the safe house. Amigos de Animales now has over 57 animals in care. This includes kitties, cats, puppies and dogs. Every animal requires unique care as the rescues come to them emaciated, dehydrated, and full of infection.
