Lesson 1 – Be Nice!

Starting a new business is exciting but it can also be very stressful. Be careful not to take your stress out on others. You never know when you are going to need the people you meet along the way; and besides, being rude is just not nice.

Create good relationships. Take time to know the people you meet. Ask them about their day, their life, and their business. You may think you don’t have the time but you will be surprised that it’s the time you spend with people that is the most rewarding.

The more you give the more you get back. We have met many so many people on this journey.   We weren’t always looking for anything from them and yet many of them turned out to be exactly what we needed at that exact moment. We have met people from all walks of life and business and a lot of them have become great supporters, generous mentors, strategic alliances and priceless resources. It is these relationships that created and are creating good things for us.

One good turn really does create another. Be nice and people will be nice back.
